We met Rebecca and Daniel shortly after their engagment in May 2011. They were such a sweet couple and Morgan and I immediately knew after the initial consultation that we wanted to work with them. After doing our usual follow-up after a consultation, they didn't book us.

Fast forward to July 2012, after wrapping up an event, I checked email to find a message from Rebecca. After contacting her, we set up a meeting where they booked us. It turns out, that they didn't book us before because they thought they could plan and get through everything without the help of a planner. It's not the first time we've heard this. However, having a planner on hand allows our clients and their families to fully enjoy their day. For those who want to do their own planning, we offer a Wedding Weekend Manager package of services.

After signing on to work with Rebecca and Daniel, we learned it was truly going to be a family affair that we were extremely excited about. Their families were assisting with everything (stationery, photography, decor, etc.) For their fall wedding, Rebecca and Daniel chose Francis Marion University (their alma mater) as the location for their weekend festivities. I couldn't have been more ecstatic after learning the venue because I too am a graduate of Francis Marion University (and this was our first wedding there)!

I haven't been all over campus like I was that weekend since my days as a student. The rehearsal dinner took place at The Cottage. The ladies stayed at The Cottage overnight before the wedding. The ceremony took place on the steps of the Stokes Administration Building. The reception took place in the Palmetto Room.

I couldn't have been more more honored to get to go home to FMU and be a part of this special couple's day!
